Meet Deanne. Broadly identifying as a heeled mule-come-sandal, her box shiny black leather upper swoops downwards – featuring a central rubberised seam for added detail – and sits atop a real sustainable wood sole finished with a rubber front sole and heel piece. The heel arches out backwards while the platformed toe kicks slightly forwards, forming a statement silhouette that wouldn’t look out of place in the alphabet of a seventies-style font.
