Employing multi-materiality and exploring the contrasts of colour and shape, Niki embraces all that is opposite. Her macrame upper is handmade using traditional Galician techniques, combining black and white cotton to form a statement wide-set square toe edged with striped stitching. Niki’s extremely thin heel is curved, standing in stark contrast with the straight lines and angularities to the front of the mule, and coated in contrasting black leather. Niki is complete with memory foam insoles and vegetable tan cow leather lining for enhanced comfort, plus a rubber heel cap and rubber-invected toe protecting its vegetable tan cow leather sole.
